Hope from the Truths of God's Word

Because of Jesus, I am…

Below is one of the most important lists I’ve ever studied. I am renewing my mind with the truth of who I am, because of Jesus’ love and sacrifice on the cross. God’s arch enemy works overtime to keep me and you from knowing and accepting these truths.  The good news is, our God who is in us is more powerful than the one who is against us.

I read these outloud in front of a mirror and I’ve recorded my own voice speaking these words of truth. I can listen to it in the car, while I get ready for work, and as I go to sleep. I encourage you to create an action plan to meditate on these powerful words.

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth,

and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31 & 32

Knowing who you are in Jesus will make you free. You will be free to experience His love and so much more. It is important for us to fix our minds on things that are above, not on earthly things. I want to fix my mind on Jesus Christ, His love in action that redeemed me, and who I am because of Him.

God invites us to ask Him, but His enemy works diligently to keep that from happening. I hope to offer you encouragement to believe God is ready to pour more into your life than you’ve ever imaged.
