Hope from the Truths of God's Word

Finding Faith

Faith in God has not been a difficult journey for me. I have not needed the “proof” others require to move forward in their relationship with Jesus.  But in 2010 my job at New Leaf Publishing Group opened my eyes to lies proposed by today’s worldview. I read Deadly Disclosures, a Christian fiction book by Julie Cave. The thriller written by Cave helped me grasp the significance of the “creation vs. evolution” debate. With my eyes wide open, I finished the book knowing I need to know more in order to defend my beliefs.

I like that Julie uses a storyline that could easily be found in the evening news. She crafts characters with lives I can relate to. And in her books, I see the the world. The pain of a world without God. But I also plainly see the path to Him.

We live in a world in need of answers. A world looking for peace.  Julie Cave is working to change that with her books. Deadly Disclosures, Shadowed Mind and the soon to be published Pieces of Life  lead people to experience God.  Now, Julie is compiling a non-fiction e-book.  The book will combine individual accounts showing the successful use of Christian fiction to strengthen and or secure a person’s faith in Christ.   As a free download, hundreds and perhaps thousands will read the book and be inspired to share the hope of salvation in this subtle way.

You are invited to share your story. Submit your essay describing how you have used Christian fiction to evangelize and the results of your encounter in a 300-500 word entry by January 15th.  Each submission will be reviewed to be included in this one of a kind publication which will be made available at for free mid-February 2011.  Cave will also use excerpts from the submissions in her blog and ministry events.
