Prayerfully Speaking

Hope from the Truths of God's Word

He is God

“God is often silent when we prefer that he speak, and he interrupts us when we prefer that he stay silent. His ways are not our ways. To live with the sacred God of creation means that we conduct our lives with a God who does not explain himself to us. It means that we worship a God who is often mysterious – too mysterious to fit our formulas for better living. It means that God is not our best friend, our secret lover or our good-luck charm. He is God.”   Craig Barnes

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.
Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power
that comes from God
  Ephesians 3:19 NLT

How are you experiencing God?

About Jennifer O. White

I’m a simple wife who has discovered God’s amazing gift of prayer. Here at Prayerfully Speaking I share my journey of unwrapping this gift. God invites us to ask Him, but His enemy works diligently to keep that from happening. I hope to offer you encouragement to believe God is ready to pour more into your life than you’ve ever imaged.

I experience God by being still. Listening for His still, small voice. The world, in all it’s noise and confusion, seeks to drown God out. It takes a willing heart, a teachable heart to experience God.

Henry Blackaby says we can experience God by watching to see where He is working, and join Him in what He is doing. This requires a seeking heart.
