Tada! Tilapia

I was prepared to make my usual Broiled Tilapia Paremesan and realized a few of the ingredients were not acceptable on my friend’s new diet. So I scanned the pantry and Tada! I found a jar of Harry & David Pepper & Onion Relish -which I normally serve on cream cheese for parties.  No more normal for Harry & David.  The tilapia turned out fabulous and a little spicy – which I appreciate being from Louisiana.   So here’s a 10 minute tilapia recipe that is now named Tada! Tilapia.

Tilapia filets
Minced Garlic
Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
Cavender’s Greek Seasoning
Pepper Jelly Onion Relish by Harry & David

Turn broiler on and place the top rack near the broiler burner. Line a pan with foil and spray with Pam.  Place tilapia on foil and season lightly with garlic, creole and greek seasoning.

Broil for 3 minutes. Turn over and season 2nd side. Broil for 3 more minutes.

Turn over again and smooth the Pepper & Onion Relish on the tilapia. Broil 3 more minutes and serve immediately.

I served the Tada! Tilapia grilled asparagus. YUMMY!
