Hope from the Truths of God's Word

Transport God’s Blessing

speak blessings from God's word

One of last week’s  Joy Missions has my mind hovering around Isaiah 12:2-3. Since we started the Joy Mission blog series, the word “JOY” jumps off the page each time I see it. (So cool!) I read these words and my heart just wanted to linger.

“See, God has come to save me.
I will trust in him and not be afraid.
The Lord God is my strength and my song;
he has given me victory.”

With joy you will drink deeply
from the fountain of salvation!

Transport the Blessing with Your Words

speak blessings from God's word

We started 2014 together speaking blessings from God’s Word. God prompted me to add these verses to our list of spoken blessings.

The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.(for ourselves)

The Lord God is your strength and your song; he has given you victory. (for others)

With joy I will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! (for ourselves)

With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation. (for others)

These are simple sentences, powerful truths. God’s Word is alive. It is active. It is sharper than a two-edged sword.

Believe God Can & Will

Without faith in Who God is and what He can do, our spoken blessings are just words – clanging symbols. With faith, we are able to speak to mountains and see God move them.

Will you put this spoken blessing into practice? Will you speak these truths over your own life in Christ? Will you courageously say them or write them to someone else? Will you be the transportation needed for the power of God’s Word to enter into someone else’s life?

God is Able.

Our Words have power.

His Words have MORE power.

Your Words can transport the unfathomable power of God’s Words.

I'm a simple wife who has discovered God's amazing gift of prayer. Here at Prayerfully Speaking I share my journey of unwrapping this gift. God invites us to ask Him, but His enemy works diligently to keep that from happening. I hope to offer you encouragement to believe God is ready to pour more into your life than you've ever imaged.

This post is especially meaningful to me right now as my husband and I have been experiencing spiritual warfare. The power of God’s word is essential to fight these battles because “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood.” I will be repeating these scriptures today, rejoicing in the fact that God is able and that “He has given us victory.”

    1. Angel, I am thrilled you are recognizing the warfare and willing to speak His Word. You are using the most powerful sword in battle. May God grant you even more of His power to declare victory over the enemy in your life right now. For His glory!
